Block printing is an art passed down through generations of artisans in Jaipur and across India. Each pattern begins as a design, carefully carved into a wooden block and brought to life one impression at a time.

The block is dipped in pigment and pressed onto cotton fabric by hand. Layer by layer, color and pattern come together—sometimes requiring multiple blocks and countless individual impressions to create a single intricate design.
